We are looking for motivated students that would like to join LTE Trials & Pilots team in our European Software & Engineering Center in Wroclaw. We can offer you friendly working environment as well as opportunity to work on the newest cutting edge technologies for the future mobile networks in cooperation with engineers from all over the world. Acting under guidance on specified competency at first will give you a chance to gain experience and become Trials & Pilots Engineer.

 

Position Description:

Main target for the Trials & Pilots Engineer is to provide our customers with insight into functionality at a very early stage of the project and therewith demonstrate our competitiveness in that new technique. The results of the Trials directly impact the decision process of the customer and finally lead to a decision whether Nokia would be set on a short list.

For the Piloting process we support the customer while executing their test cases on their sites. Besides the provision and testing of a Trial/Pilot test scope, the LTE trial team additionally focuses on enabling of local staff as well as on site support for customer teams.

 

Requirements:

Must have:

Student of Telecommunication, Engineering, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent field

Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Ability and willingness to work with documentation

Good communication and team working skills

Ability to work under strict deadlines and quality guidelines

Personal commitment

Analytical thinking skills

 

Nice to have:

Academic knowledge in Telecommunication area, especially LTE

Theoretical knowledge of software testing processes

General knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, switching, routing)
